Katie is thrilled to be bringing mindfulness into the workplace. As a McLean Meditation Institute Certified Meditation & Mindfulness Instructor, Katie teaches people how to improve the quality of both their personal and professional lives and relationships. She trains employees on healthy ways to reduce stress, improve performance, and increase clarity and overall wellbeing. Katie developed her own practice as a way to ease the stress and burnout she was experiencing in her own life as an elementary school teacher.
Through the implementation of a daily meditation practice and mindful living techniques, Katie experienced a transformation in her interactions with her students, co-workers, and, most importantly, with herself. This experience inspired and empowered her to bring these teachings to others. Katie now combines her experience in the worlds of education and mindfulness to share tools that provide individuals and organizations with simple everyday solutions that have tremendous benefits.
