Stacie Rogers is the founder of Meditation, Mindfulness and More, LLC. Based in the Washington, D.C. area, she currently teaches mindfulness practices and tools to organizations, groups and individuals. She has successfully adapted this instruction to both in-person and online formats, to meet the changing needs of her clients during Covid-19. In 2020, she provided nine months of complimentary online meditations to support her local community.
Stacie began her career in corporate America, working with taxes, financial accounting, IT and the Board of Directors at KPMG, Marriott International, and OBA Bank. Over the last two decades, she has extensively trained in meditation and mindfulness, and is excited to share simple and practical techniques to help her clients implement daily mindfulness tools. Used to navigate the overwhelming impact of daily stressors, these practices can significantly enhance professional, physical and emotional wellbeing showing a positive return on your investment of time.
Stacie is certified through a 200-hour Meditation and Mindfulness Instructor training (CMMI) through the McLean Meditation Institute, where she is also certified as an MMI Mindful® Trainer. In her free time, she volunteers as a Hospice bereavement group leader for teens. Her diverse training, outside of the corporate umbrella, include MBSR, MindUp (Mindfulness curriculum in schools), Mindfulness from the Zen Buddhist traditions, a 200-hour Registered Yoga Teacher training (RYT) in the Hatha discipline, an five year training to become an Eminent Reiki Master, a Hospice facilitator, a three year training to be a Parent Encouragement leader through PEP, and various energy wellness techniques.
Stacie recently opened a lovely Meditation studio in her Maryland home. She loves meditation gatherings where she guides people to discover practices to reconnect with themselves. Everyone is welcome to her classes, especially the brand-newbies and the naysayers! Expect to breathe and smile!
